An wider perspective is gained which offers insight into what are the primary disturbances are in our systems. With this perspective we may choose to work out a plan to address these disturbances
Changes to these primary disturbances can often be done quickly. Sometimes, however, chronic problems are identified which will take a long time to change and in more acute issues, change can occur rapidly. A further step that often follows with physical problems is learning how to consolidate the changes to make them our 'new and normal' way of doing things.
If a significant part of your problems are chronic, these issues are ones which our bodies and minds adapt to, e.g. avoiding doing certain movements or activities, or perhaps worrying about doing things in case we might hurt ourselves further.
